Lots of life changing events this year ...
my boss left .... i cant leave as i was pregnant .... learnt to work with my boss, called my own shots etc ...
gave birth the baby caleb .... worried if i've got enough supply to feed him ... wondering how to take care of him ... realised that i need to rely on God for His wisdom to guide me ... being a mum sometimes require me to make decision on behalf of baby caleb .... e.g, when he had too high jaundice, papa kwee asked ... should we rent a machine back or ward him .... hmmm how would i know ... but logic tells me that i should ward him so that he can receive better medical attention than us, his blur parents ... ha ha ... this was just one of the many more instances where we had to make decision on the spot for baby caleb ...
family members ... are super important ... i am really thankful for the support givn by my parents .... they are just so GREAT! ....
went to beijing for work alone (ok, at least for 2 days) leaving baby and family behind ... made me realised one thing which i told my single friends - see the world if you want, work overseas if u dare ... do it before you get married/have baby ...
finally, sent in the form to ICPAS... i am now officially a provisional member ... yea, it's 4 years late ...but late better than never ... and as i wasnt very conscentious in asking my ex employers to give me a testimonial, i dun think i can be converted to a non-practising cpa yet ...
on the last day of 2008, baby caleb fell sick ... and docs, Pd were closed .. so we had to bring him to the walk-in clinic at Mt A ... better clear his bug before it gets worse ...
2009 .... has to be a better year for me ...
